Pressure = Diamonds!

Parenting is 24 hours, 7 days a week, 365 days of the week, until forever! Being a parent is HARD. It is constant and challenging, full of emotions (both good and bad) In a world that is changing in the blink of an eye, it's good to stop and think about the concept of childhood. What is it? Why is it important?

The early years are more important than we think. Without a doubt, those first eight years of every child's life can make a difference to their futures. These are the years that enrich our lives. In those early years, our brains are growing at a rapid rate as we explore and try to understand the world around us. This is the reason why it's important to stop, play and enjoy the early years. It can be super easy to put the TV on or give an iPad - there are definitely sanity moments where this is a MUST. However, when we can, it is best to push through the tiredness and overwhelming and invest into our children.

If technology is used as a treat and not part of the daily routine then parenting is going to become harder. But the growth of your child's development and the richness of your relationship with them as you get along side them and play will be worth it. They are only little once and time flies by in the blink of an eye. Make the most of it, PLAY & EXPLORE!
